The Polytechnic (Diploma in Engineering) program at Champaran College of Professional Education is designed to provide students with robust, practical, and industry-oriented technical education. It serves as an excellent launchpad for students who wish to enter the engineering workforce early or build a solid foundation before pursuing higher technical studies like a B.Tech degree.

Students can choose to specialize in one of the following core engineering disciplines based on their career interests:
Focuses on the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including public works like roads, bridges, canals, and buildings.
Covers the design, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems, machinery, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
Deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism, including power generation, transmission, and electrical machinery.
Provides foundational knowledge in software development, programming languages, database management, hardware fundamentals, and networking.
Focuses on electronic devices, circuits, communication equipment like transmitters, receivers, and integrated circuits, preparing students for the telecom and hardware industries.
We offer a Lateral Entry pathway that allows eligible students to skip the first year and gain direct admission into the second year (3rd semester) of the Polytechnic program. This reduces the total course duration from 3 years to 2 years.
