Committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and dignified campus culture for all individuals.
Champaran College of Professional Education is dedicated to providing a safe and harassment-free educational and working environment. In strict compliance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, and the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the institution has constituted a dedicated Sexual Harassment Committee.
The committee proactively works to prevent any instances of sexual harassment on campus and provides a highly confidential, sensitive, and impartial mechanism for the redressal of complaints. We believe that every student, faculty member, and staff employee has the fundamental right to work and study in an atmosphere free from intimidation, hostility, and offensive behavior.
Sexual harassment includes any unwelcome sexually determined behavior (whether directly or by implication), such as:
Unwelcome physical contact, advances, or any conduct that infringes upon an individual's bodily autonomy and personal space.
Sexually colored remarks, inappropriate jokes, demands or requests for sexual favors, and unwelcome gestures.
Showing pornography, sending unsolicited inappropriate imagery digitally, or displaying offensive materials in shared spaces.
Any other unwelcome physical, verbal, or non-verbal conduct of a sexual nature that creates an intimidating or hostile educational or work environment.
Any individual who feels they have been subjected to sexual harassment can approach the committee.
