Fee Refund Policy

Champaran College of Professional Education (CCPEUS) strictly adheres to the Fee Refund Policy mandated by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for all Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) in India. This policy is designed to be student-friendly and ensures transparency regarding the refund of fees upon withdrawal of admission.

The percentage of fees to be refunded to a student will be based on the timing of the withdrawal request, counted from the formally notified last date of admission for the respective program, as per UGC guidelines:

Important Notes

  1. *Processing Charges (100% Refund Category): In cases where 100% refund is applicable (Category 1), the institution shall deduct an amount not more than 5% of the fees paid by the student, subject to a maximum of **₹5,000/-** as processing charges from the refundable amount.
  2. Non-Refundable Fees: Caution Money and Security Deposit, which are not part of the chargeable fees, shall be refunded in full, irrespective of the withdrawal date.
  3. Timeline for Refund: Fees shall be refunded to an eligible student within **fifteen days** from the date of receiving a written application for withdrawal.
  4. Formal Request: All requests for withdrawal and fee refund must be submitted in writing to the Admission Office. The date of receipt of the written application will be considered the date of withdrawal for calculating the refund amount.
  5. Violation of Policy: Any HEI violating the provisions of the UGC Fee Refund Policy shall be liable for punitive action as notified by the Commission.
