Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Champaran College of Professional Education (CCPEUS) is established as a vital post-accreditation quality sustenance measure, in line with the guidelines set by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and the University Grants Commission (UGC).

The IQAC is the central body for quality management, driving conscious, consistent, and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution and foster a culture of total quality management (TQM).

Vision and Objectives

Vision

To ensure quality culture as the prime concern for the Higher Education Institution by institutionalizing and internalizing all the initiatives taken with internal and external support, leading to global standards of excellence.

Objectives

  • To develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
  • To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through the internalization of a quality culture and the institutionalization of best practices.

Key Functions of the IQAC

The IQAC works to achieve its objectives through the following primary functions:

  1. Development and application of **quality benchmarks/parameters** for various academic and administrative activities.
  2. Facilitating the creation of a **learner-centric environment** conducive to quality education, adopting the necessary knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning processes.
  3. Arrangement for **feedback response** from students, parents, and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes.
  4. Documentation of the various programmes and activities leading to **quality improvement**.
  5. Acting as a **nodal agency** of the Institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including the adoption and dissemination of best practices.
  6. Development and maintenance of an **institutional database** through Management Information System (MIS) for quality enhancement.
  7. Preparation and submission of the **Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR)** to NAAC based on the prescribed quality parameters.
  8. Organization of inter- and intra-institutional workshops, seminars, and training programs on quality-related themes.
